There is a plastic retainer used to hold the first row of bits in place, probably for shipping? You will need to throw this away after opening it the first time. The bits are stored in 3 layers which require a thin knife to open the first time, probably also done for shipping purposes. All the bits were straight and sharp. I took off a star for the exterior case, It will not hold up with daily use. The case and latch are made of flimsy plastic. Would have paid more for a better case

This set has harder to find sizes. Time will tell how they hold an edge, but I think they will do very well.
I needed a complete set of decent bits for wood working. The Big Orange and Big Blue didn’t have what I wanted at the price I wanted to pay so I bought these.I selected several at random to test straightness and accuracy and was very pleased with the results.All in all, reasonable even decent value for the money.As to the seller, I would definitely buy from him/her/them again. My order arrived as promised and was properly packaged.
