Made from M35 steel with 5% cobalt, Century's Cobalt drill bits are designed to cut through extremely hard metals, including stainless steel.
No center punch needed: Century's 135° quick-cut points are self-centering and penetrate faster with less pressure. Drill bit will not "walk" or "wander" at the starting point.
Extremely heat resistant, must be used and operated in power units that have a RPM speed of 1,500 or more for maximum efficiency.

Best bit set I own.

Best drill bits I’ve used. They just work, no need to give it the beans to make them cut, they just eat. Use them professionally drilling broken Chrysler manifold bolts as a mechanic.

I got the 13 piece, 5% cobalt, "14x steel/stainless steel" set.I'm so glad I can buy USA. Nice case. The plastic holders swivel up. I used them with a hand drill on aluminum. A lot of bits are made to grab the material and pull themselves violently through, whether you want them to or not. These do not do that.

Drill bite are not missing they fell into bottom pit.

Alright bit set. I work with metal everyday they wear per usual. I'll try a different set next time

The drill bits are great but the holder was tricky. The smaller drill bits tend to fall down into the bottom of the holder.
